For this public artwork a series of large glass mosaic panels depicting activities at the center were created. This commission awarded by Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission “Call to Artists” to design, fabricate, and install a public artwork as a visual landmark for the Palmer Park Community. Recipient Juror’s Choice Award, Site Specific, 2016 Mosaic Arts International. This was an extremely difficult installation location, an interior fire stairwell escape route.
